Sugar Bar

I’ve been here once before but I definetly need to make the journey back uptown to Ashford and Simpson’s Sugar Bar! This is one of New York’s premier locations for live Jazz, R&B, Carribbean and Traditional African Music. Sugar Bar also showcases a lot of local and upcoming talent. Tuesday through Saturday the show normally begins around 8:30pm  and Thursday nights are Open Mic night (I believe there’s a $10 cover charge…), you never know who might make a guest appearance. However, any night you choose to visit Sugar Bar there’s sure to be a packed house. Stay fabulous!
